Where are we going?
Georgia for tough guys – extreme roads of the Caucasus
Our joint off-road adventure in Georgia begins at Kutaisi Airport, where our buses and we will be waiting for you. We will then transport you to the nomads4x4.eu base in Samtredia (9 km from Kutaisi Airport), where we will get to know each other better over a glass of Georgian wine.
What to expect during the trip
This is a 4×4 trip that requires a bit of courage and a lot of skill. The road to Omalo is said to be one of the most dangerous in the world. It leads through the picturesque landscapes of the Caucasus, offering unforgettable views of mountains and valleys. There are narrow and winding sections where you have to pass other cars because the traffic is quite heavy. The second option, Vashlovani Park, has a desert-like, harsh, almost lunar atmosphere. We will find ourselves in a place scorched by the sun, where apart from us there will only be border guards and wild nature. We will be completely out of phone range for a few days, during which we will travel several hundred kilometers on gravel roads!

- AutoCasco Insurance “offroad” car insurance package - a special comprehensive insurance package for the wilderness of Georgia
- two nights' accommodation at nomads4x4 - the first on Saturday and the last on Friday
- welcome refreshments on the day of arrival
- transfer from/to Kutaisi airport
- all fees and permits for entry to the Vashlovani National Park

- fuel and road tolls - fuel approx. PLN 700 per car crew
- accommodation in hotels, if any - one night with breakfast is approx. PLN 70

An expedition that stays in your mind for a long time
Go where the asphalt ends. Every kilometer is a new story.
You should know that the plan for this trip includes traveling by off-road vehicle through the mountainous terrain of the High Caucasus. We will cross a mountain pass at an altitude of 2,826 m above sea level (the road to Omalo) or through a virtually uninhabited land characterized by a semi-desert landscape, sometimes reminiscent of the African steppes. We are talking about the Vashlovani Park.

Kutaisi Airport
Upon arrival, buses will take you to the Nomads' base.
Samtredia nomads4x4.eu base
This is where you will spend your first night, meet over a glass of wine, and talk about the trip ahead.
Telavi
It is the main city and administrative center of Kakheti. Located on a hill above the Alazani Valley, it offers stunning views of the Greater Caucasus mountain range. The city is full of monuments commemorating the past. There are castles, a cathedral, a royal residence, and a huge plane tree, undoubtedly the most famous tree in all of Georgia. We will also take you to the bustling bazaar.
